Pre-Operational Installation Requirements for Sand Washing Machines

1. Upon delivery, users must immediately inspect the unit to ensure all parts are complete and undamaged. Installation should only proceed after confirming the machine’s integrity.

2. Users should design foundation construction drawings tailored to specific site conditions, ensuring the sand washer is securely anchored to a solid concrete base.

3. When installing spiral sand washers, strictly adhere to the inclination angles specified in the installation drawings. Verify that the motor is correctly positioned on its guide rails and adjust belt tension as required.

4. After installation, manually rotate the rotor disc to check for any jamming or collision issues before starting the machine.

Sand Washing Machine Operation and Debugging

After starting the sand washer, a trial run must be conducted.

1. No-Load Operation and Debugging of Sand Washing Machine

Once the motor is started, the sand washer should operate smoothly without abnormal vibration. The bearing temperature rise must not exceed 35°C. After running the sand washer for 2–4 hours without issues, check for any loose connections and make necessary adjustments.

2. Load Operation and Debugging of Sand Washing Machine

The load test can only be performed after successful no-load operation. The sand washing machine should run smoothly without abnormal vibration. The bearing temperature rise should not exceed 40°C. Ensure that no dust enters any seal.

Precautions After Using the Sand Washing Machine

1. Excessive bearing wear and poor assembly. Timely inspection of the sand washer’s bearings is essential. If severe wear is detected, replace the bearings promptly to prevent motor overheating.

2. The iron core of the sand washing machine is corroded, which may be caused by humidity. Use sandpaper to polish the iron core, then apply a layer of insulating paint on the surface to prevent further rusting.

3. The joint between the iron core and the base is loose. Tighten the original positioning screws. If operation is difficult, pre-punch holes in the base for positioning.

4. The journal of the sand washer is worn. Check the degree of wear; if it is not severe, you can directly plate a chrome layer onto the journal. If the wear is significant, cut off a chromium layer and then fit it onto the tube.
