If the loading of the grinding body in the coarse grinding chamber of the ball mill is too small, the steel balls are too small, or the filling rate of the grinding body in the fine grinding chamber is much lower than that in the coarse grinding chamber, this situation will lead to insufficient grinding of the material. Naturally, the grinding effect will not be achieved. The loading of the grinding body should be increased, the gradation of the grinding body should be adjusted, the proportion of large balls should be increased, or the filling rate of the grinding body of the fine grinding chamber should be appropriately increased.
When the feeding amount of the ball mill is too large or the feeding amount is too large in a short period, the grinding body will not be able to fully grind the excessive material. It should be uniformly fed and prevent too much feeding at one time.
When the gap between the grate gaps of the partition plate of the ball mill is too large, the materials that have not reached the required particle size will be screened out, so electric welding can be used to weld the steel bars to the gaps that are too large.
In this case, it will cause the grinding body in the ball mill barrel to drift into the bin, and the material cannot be ground well. The partition plate should be replaced or installed, and the mixed grinding body should be sorted.
When the ball mill is running, if the water content of the grinding slurry is too low, the slurry will stick to the grinding body or the lining plate, forming a “buffer layer”, which affects the crushing ability of the ball mill. The water content of the slurry should be increased to an appropriate level.
The large particle size of the ball mill should be paid attention to, to avoid the poor quality of the powder and the low price caused by the poor grinding effect.
