Two Solutions For Fine Sand Loss In Sri Lanka

Dewatering screen and sand washer

1. Sand Washer+ Dewatering Screen

The means that a dewatering screen is installed after the sand washer equipment. The sand output of the sand washing machine is relatively large, so the purity of the sand may not be guaranteed. After adding a dewatering screen, the sand sent to the conveyor belt will be relatively clean.

The function of the dewatering screen is dewatering, desliming, and de-intermediation. The equipment is vibrated in a low inclination and large linear vibration, combined with the electromagnetic vibrating screen to clean the sand on the screen, the sand is discharged from the screen, and the water is discharged from the screen into the tailings pump tank.

2. Sand Washing & Recycling Machine

This method is to directly use the sand washing and recycling integrated machine. It consists of a separator, a dewatering screen, an impeller separator, a reducer, a slag paddle pump, a cleaning box, and other components, and has the dual functions of a sand washing machine and a fine sand recovery machine.

The working principle of the sand washing and recycling integrated machine is that the sand and water mixture enters the cleaning tank, is separated by the impeller separator, and then enters the lower dewatering screen for dehydration treatment. The wastewater (containing a large amount of fine sand, mud, dust.) from the cleaning tank is transported to the separator by the slag paddle pump, and then the fine sand after centrifugation and classification is discharged into the upper layer of the dewatering screen through the grit nozzle. The wastewater, mud, dust, impurities in the cleaning tank are discharged into the high-level return tank through the overflow of the separator and then discharged. The upper layer is finished with coarse sand, and the lower layer is discharged with fine sand, or mixed with coarse and fine sand.
